Pedro Cabrita Reis, one of the most important Portuguese contemporary artists, straddles the border between architecture, sculpture, and painting, works with civilizational residual material and building material, and repeatedly creates new spaces or reinterprets old ones. [...] From his investigations into space, architecture and cultural memory, into collective and individual memory, he goes beyond the visible and initiates a poetic discourse with Assembly/Versammlung.
